How do I try UseMyContext in 30 seconds, without signing up?

TL;DR: You can try UseMyContext without creating an account. Sign in as demo@usemycontext.ai with the fixed verification code 424242 (no email access needed) on usemycontext.ai, or use the same credentials at the OAuth screen when connecting any MCP client to mcp.usemycontext.ai/mcp. The demo account is shared and read-only: everything works except edits.

How do I sign in to the demo?

Two ways, same credentials. On the website, click "Try the live demo" on the landing page, or type demo@usemycontext.ai into the normal sign-in form and enter the code 424242 - the code is fixed, so you never need access to the mailbox. From an AI client (Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT Developer Mode), add the MCP server https://mcp.usemycontext.ai/mcp and use the same email and code at the browser sign-in. The exact connect steps for each client are in the docs.

What is in the demo account?

The demo is a fully seeded account for a believable person: a freelance product designer with a compiled profile, real working files (a bio, a project brief, meeting notes, design principles, and an invoices spreadsheet), plus a context another user shared in. That means all eight tools have something real to show - profile reads, file search, document Q&A with cited passages, exact spreadsheet queries, and a cross-user shared context.

What should I ask once I am connected?

Three copy-paste prompts that show the range:

  1. "What do you know about me?" - the AI reads the compiled profile and answers as if it has known Dana for months.
  2. "Summarize the Acme redesign brief and what the latest meeting notes say about it." - answers from documents, with cited passages.
  3. "What do the unpaid invoices total, by client?" - an exact, deterministic sum over the invoices spreadsheet, not an estimate.

Why is the demo read-only?

Because it is shared. The server refuses every edit from a demo session, so no visitor can change what the next visitor sees - the profile, files, and shares stay exactly as seeded. One deliberate exception: an AI can still file a suggest_update proposal, because suggestions are pending-only and never touch the profile until an owner approves them.

FAQ

Do I need a credit card or an email code?

No. The code is fixed at 424242 and published on purpose - there is nothing to fetch from a mailbox and nothing to pay.

Can I break something?

No. Demo sessions cannot edit, upload, delete, share, or spend anything. The server refuses every mutation except pending suggestions, which only an owner can approve, so the demo always looks the way it was seeded.

How do I get my own account?

Sign in at usemycontext.ai with your own email - the first code creates your account. The free tier covers everything the demo shows.

Where are the full docs?

At usemycontext.ai/docs: connect steps per client, the eight tools, folder mapping with .umc, the security model, and plans.
